Review the store development costs of the refurbishment
programme in order to maximise the return on investment without
detriment to the format design

The Approach:
To work within the “bloodstream” of the organisation at all levels
from boardroom to store. Assist in the development of cross
functional working with both internal and external teams.

The Result:

  • Identified £14 million annualised savings. £4million of the savings
    were banked within four months
  • Developed tiered specification with target costed schemes
  • Developed a methodology to enable the internal silos to work
    more efficiently in cross functional teams.
  • Reviewed the current lighting schemes and developed a lighting
    brief based on the desired effect
  • Developed a process to capture and inform on the change of
    specification and standards
