Brief:
To originate and develop a profitable, world standard, home meal
replacement offer to operate in modules.
Approach:
To develop the colleagues to become passionate and
knowledgeable about food.To provide customers with affordable daily
& time of day meal solutions in a dynamic and interactive environment.
Part and full time internal and external team assembled including
product development, trading, operations, finance, design and project
management. Core tasks included establishing the skills required by
the colleagues to deliver the proposition, creating a selection and
training programme and carrying out space realignment to increase
fresh food participation whilst maintaining overall margin.
Results & Performance:
One of the most successful new store openings in Asda’s history,
opening sales were maintained and grew and achieved market
leadership in 4 HMR categories. The first drive through restaurant at
a
supermarket in the world. Established a new food service brand which
was rolled to the chain.
